Great time at the Fred Hall Show, brought back a
new product (for us) called Shake2, somewhat like a football head jig, stands
baits upright for a much better presentation to the fish. The Craws, and all
NetBaits looked wonderful on this head. Three color heads (gr/pumpk, black and
brown) and two weights (so far, will have a total of 5 wgts). Will be on site next week.
New lures for Peacock Bass fishing are the Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnows and
Caribe Pavon Props. Pavon Props are an all wood ripper bait.

line of peacock bass Bucktail Jigs has added a new color, Seckler, to
their list. Evidently the Seckler is a fish the peacock bass eat voraciously.
Comes in all the same configurations of the other jigheads.

Megabait, is not carrying the LA Slider anymore, so Brian (the designer) has gone back to work and is making the "Lil' Anthony, a soft plastic swimbait that has a patented hollow inner chamber. Brian is making 5 colors: dark trout, light trout, white, shad and golden shiner. The design of the swimbait, with durable soft plastic, allows the user to switch body colors, hook size, and weight easily, without damaging the fishing lure! These baits are 5.5" in length. They are not packaged with a jighead and have to be purchased separately. I do have a few of the MegaBait LA Sliders, but not in all colors.
