I start by rigging the worm texas, start the point of the hook in the worm head about 1/4 inch and bring the point out of the side of the worm , rotating 180 degrees and pushing the worm onto the barb and inserting hook point back into the worm making it as weedless as you can with a jighead. I use a custom built spotsticker medium action spinning rod (7') and a spinning reel with no more than 10 pound test (P Line Fluoroclear). I cast the jighead to the the desired structure letting it fall to the bottom. I get my rod at a 45 degree angle with my line tight and maintain contact with the jighead at all times. I, with only my wrist, get the the rod tip vibrating (Shaking) and with my reel hand begin at the same time barely turning the reel handle keeping the bait moving across the bottom while the whole time keeping the bait vibrating. When I reach a stump, brush pile, rock I will hop the bait off the bottom a foot or so and let it fall and then resume the above stated action. At a dropoff, I will let the bait fall at it's own speed, keeping the line tight until satisfied I have fallen through the fish strike zone. The angler will need to develope their own style and technique that they are comfortable with, but many anglers find this technique among the best and quickly become spoiled with the effectiveness of the small bait. Remember, The rod and line are the two most important factors.
